Ducato get alternator out

Hi everyone I have a 2004 Ducato Motor home need to get alternator out, got it all loosened off , no room to get it out what do I need else do I need to remove is it the steering cv joint or is it the exhaust. Please can someone help

Hi,
and welcome to FF,

in lots of FIAT diesels it's common to remove the RHS engine mount,
and "swing" the engine forward a little

not too familiar with yours , but does that look like it'll give you enough space..??
( I'll do a search now and post relevant info / results)

Thanks for the replies took the steering wheel drive shaft up into the cab , then as it wasn't in the way anymore dropped the alternator out the bottom
