Like many I get the random Generic Failue Indication and stop start deactivation light showing together (never alone).
I have read various possible solutions but no firm ones, has this changed are there any firm fixes
- many have said just live with it because the car drives OK and its just Italian electrics.

My worry is that since April any warning lights showing is a MOT Fail, therefore the warning light that is showing now that we can live with could prove very costly when at 3 years they drop out of warranty and into the first MOT.

Have any members had any experence of this or are the 500's with stop start less than 3 years old?

Why not get it fixed before the warranty runs out? It's either the sensor or the ecu that needs sorting.

Good -:) thanks for answering my query I can now relax
