General Generic awning rail combo dripstop list over side door, suitable versions?

Looking for a combo both a generic awning rail which would be able to mount a sun shade / rain cover and alkso stop rain from dripping in when the sliding side door is open.

What versions are there? Noticed Fiamma had this attached version. Anyone here have that one and knows if it stops rain? I'm thinking to clue it on the 3 cm of metal above the door

I was going to fit one of these to my previous van, but sold it and bought a coachbuilt - the one in your first picture is not great for stopping water in via the open sliding door, as I have previously experienced and this one in the link is much better at water dispersal.
