It's...
  1. what the homewardette christened The Panda Formerly Known As Godiva; and
  2. causing utter confusion.

PS: See this post....

I'm sure you had your reasons but Godiva?

Unless it was a contraction of Go Diva?

'something to do with Lady Godiva?

You've probably posted reasons before and I've forgot.

Pippin is much more panda friendly :) (y)

Yeah! The car had spent most of its 23 years based in and around Coventry; and, to me, at the time, it seemed apposite (and a tad unusual).

Agreed! And, with retrospect, I should have stuck to my policy of christening the cars with names beginning with 'P'; I should also have not named her (who is now a 'him'...) at all, until the homewardette had seen her/him.... :(

"Pippin" came about for the reasons in this post, by the way....

I can't be the only one,
put my right hand on the left side of the steering wheel so it gets the heater for a while
How do you keep your side windows clear? Can't look left at roundabouts. Without wiping the window with my sleeve.

Although the air vents in the corners of the windscreen only blow cold air they do help.

I've always -- usually to the discomfort of any passengers -- liked driving with fresh air on my face! Takes me back to the days of driving 1960s Beetles: pumping warm air (providing the heat exchangers worked, of course) on one part of me, whilst simultaneously freezing another! :nutter:

The driver's side air vent on Pippin will remain firmly open whilst I'm driving...! :p
