Sorry for the long post.
Had my Bravo 07 plate 1.9 diesel Dynamic a few weeks now 86000 miles. The car super market I bought it from have been very good to be honest as the car did have one or two things I wasn't happy with. They did a full service, replaced cam belt, water pump, aux belt etc and other things as well.
I did have the Hill Holder problem which did take a couple of visits including them sending it to Fiat but that seem ok now. Fingers crossed. This is my 1st diesel so please bear with me.
1. When starting the car I turn key to mar and wait for coil light to go out. When I then try to turn to AVV it wont move. I have to just go past mar and then wait till light goes out then move on to AVV and car starts. Is this right or ignition barrel problem ? 2. As the engine fires its very lumpy knocking for a couple of seconds then idles at 800 rpm. Should it idle at say 1200 rpm as if choke is on for a min or two first? Again is this how it should be or good there be a problem with glow plug, injectors? No warning lights come on. I still have 2 months warranty left and will take it back if theses are problems but don't want to look silly if these are as it should be.
