Technical gearbox

hi guys need help need a new gear box i have a 07 1.9 mjet diesel 5sp will a 1.4 6 sp fit it or does it have to be the same

the table says you want a 530/5..or 530/6 depending on YOUR model
you have that info now do your research

what work does it need..??

think the gearbox may have hairline crack its leaking through the thrust bearing or what ever they call it now. at the moment its in northwest transmissions getting the box repaired decided to keep it.just hope it works out ok its not the garage i use normally

quick update on the gearbox turns out the gearbox is fine when i had a new clutch in cornwall they lost a piece which goes behind the actuator and is the seal they then botched it by putting loads of sealer in it they are ordering the part plus going to put another clutch in because it has oil on it :slayer:
