General Gearbox./.

Hi, does anyone know if I can stick in a 6-speed gear box from another fiat to the bravo 1.2 16v engine ?

Apparently the punto 6 speed box fits.

the mk2 punto sporting gearbox fits onto the engine fine (both use same engine), the bravo gear selector uses linkages, the 6 speed uses cables, so you need to fit the 6 speed selector and its cable linakge to the bravo, hopefully you wont need to adjust the length of the cables. driveshafts are a possible problem, so far i have not been able to determine if the bravo shafts will fit the 6 speed box but i doubt they will. the gearbox mount should not be a problem but i'm basing that only on a visual inspection.
