Hi,
I have a 1.9 diesel bravo 57 plate 120bhp. Yesterday I had to stop quickly at a set of traffic lights which stalled the car - I was in 5th gear.
When I started the engine, I found it very difficult to select 1st gear. Once driving the gear change was still difficult but possible. Gearing down was more difficult. Getting into reverse was almost impossible. If I turn the engine off, the gears could be selected easily.
I've followed threads and the 1st thing I did was bleed the clutch system. Biting point is about a 1/3 from the bottom of the pedal travel. I checked the cables and they are OK.
Can anyone suggest where to look next?
Clutch or gearbox ?
Thanks in advance for any shared experiences on this.
