does enyone know of an easy way to change a gearbox in a marea 2ltr got one off bulldog,was a bit of a pain to get out only asking as the only way i can see is to really take engine and box out as one not looking forward to it

Never heard of anyone managing to change a box while it's still in the car. Think you're going to have to find a strong A frame.

LOL, wondered how long before this came up was a pain to get out yes but hay we did it in a day! somhow i think brute force might not get it back in!
