is the gearbox's interchangable from 20v-20vt?
i am wanting to put a 6 spead box on my bravo hgt which is supercharged but am not sure about the ratio's etc

what is vicius coupling and what does it do?

is there anyway to have vicius coupling on my hgt?

i've been lead to believe they are interchangeable however dont fit the 6 speed, fit the 5 speed as its much stronger.

As for the 5-speed being stronger, I think the opinion is, unless you are going to run mega power, then both are strong. I wouldn't be put off the 6-speed.

its called viscous coupling. basically there is a drum with 2 sets of plates inside. now the magic part, they sit in a liquid, usually silicone. that liquid need to solidify in heat. if one set of plates spins faster than the other set of plates heat is created, this heat makes the silicone fluid solidify, which basically sticks the 2 sets of plates together.

so apply that idea to LSD on a FWD car. When one wheel spins faster the set of plates for that wheel spin faster than the set of plates for the other wheel. the fluid then sticks both sets together, that transfers more torque to the slower spinning wheel.

the turbo coupe's all have a viscous coupling diff, so you could fit it to your hgt.

sounds like a good investment for track running and strip running to me chears
