General Gear stick prices

£18 for the normal gear knob, and £145 for the leather gear knob !!??!! something has to be wrong.. Can someone else ask fiat how much the leather gear knob is please and let us know.

The leather fob was £90 my eper disc prices were only £2 out

I will give my new local Fiat a call in the morning and see what the price is from them. I was told that it was £140 in Nottingham about a year ago now. If its £90 + vat its going to be £112 or so. Still loads but I think I would pay it.

I would be happy with that.. I really need one as mine is looking a bit past it now. Well I will keep my fingers crossed hat its £90 and that it does not take a few months to come in. I will call them in the morning and place an order.

Hi - I have got a spare black leather gear stick from an 03 plate B. Stitching is all fine - have been meaning to put it on Ebay for ages or the Doc's site. Will take some fotos at the weekend and post it then if anyone is interested.

erm im sure im not the only one, but i hacksawed about 60mm of the gearstick, tapped a new thread, then popped a nicer leather efoort on the top, now your arms rest on the centre box and gear changing is much easier, shorter etc. 30 min job.

why go with the original(that by the way costs here in athens greece 140 euros)
and not go with something like this??for around 65euros??
i think it looks better plus it goes great with the leather seats since they also got little holes in them!!!!!!!

the gear knob is a little shorter if you can tell since i cut about an inch off the stem

Cheap **** that I am I went for this one. €10 . The finish fits nicely with the interior of a silver B.
