Technical Gear stick loose and long throw

Got a wobbly stick.
Play in all gears and neutral.
Engages gears ok but feels like i'm going to hit the radio in 3 and 5th.
What's the fix fellas.

Probably stretched linkage cables, but check around the top/back of the gearbox and check all the brackets they attach to are bolted down tight first.

Are the cables adjustable?

Not that i'm aware of! think they are pretty much connected at both ends via ball joint things and solid cable in between with outer bracket points to locate it/route it.

Depends.
Second hand on evilbay, not necessarily much.

Brand new can be expensive, depending on where you get your parts from.
