Take a look at link below on Ebay, i sent seller an email stating that the majority of feedback from fiatforum, is that you more or less have to saw off standard sei sporting gear knob if you want to change, i also mentioned that the fact your advert states "seicento" can you confirm that no sawing off of standard gear knob is required, his reply was that he has never heard of this problem and has sold plenty and has had none returned.

Anyone confirm the case here!

There are other ways of taking it off, hacksawing it off seems be common, but you can also put it in 4th and pull it off

What do u think of the gear knob.

Im no sure about the 4th gear pull off scenario, you have that wee cable attachment that u can see under the gater, unless that does'nt get affected when pulling knob.

Sounds totally sexual innuendo talk above eh!:D

Yer its quite nice. Not sure if you need the OMP adaptor to fit it also. Can someone else confirm that?

I bought one, was a nice toy.
I had to cut away the old gear knob but not any of the actual stick. I tried just pulling it off but it hadnt been put on properly so had no choice but to cut it away.

just to confirm my spi has a little pull up thing under the main gear ball thingy that you have to do to get it in reverse i thought all cinqs and sei's were the same in that respect? and am i right in saying you can diy a gear knob to make a catch under the ball then loop the cable round the catch to let still use reverse if you lift up the knob? thinking of doing the same to my stick.
god sounds like a bloody script for a porno movie!:D

In that case they are, however the S and SX gearknobs are a different design compared to the sporting.
