gear knob n gaitor removal

hi people

in order to remove the gear knob and gaitor do u have to saw it off, or is there another method???

removal

to remove the gearnob and gaiter follow these steps:

around the base of the gaiter is a plastic shape under the gaiter material. use a screwdriver and leaver from under the gaiter at the bottom.
now lift the entire gaiter up and you will see the underside of the gearnob. remove the plastic ring that holds the top of the gaiter in place and pull like mad upwards on the gearnob. thats how mine came off.

simple and sould take less than 10mins.
