Can Anyone Help On My Stilo Abarth Can Anyone Explain How The Digital Gauges Work Ie The Oil I Dont Understand How They Work I Know Its Sounds Dumb But I Dont Know How They Work

because my gauges keeps coming on and there is oil in the engine i dont no what i should be looking out for

Ok, so have you checked the right level on the dipstick - remember, too much oil can be just as bad.

Do you have the matrix diplay - the left hand guage is oil pressure - this should normally be all the way round, i.e. at pressure all the time - any drop in this signifies a problem somewhere - I have had the odd blip down when sitting at idle, so tend to top up accordingly. The right hand one is oil temperature - this generally sits in the middle for me.

thats right on my left gauge there is no dashes just the colours on it my right one just sits there in the middle the dashes you mean dont you

Yes, each square should be filled in on the left i.e. no empty boxes.

i will if the oil pressure starts to fall what can cause that its not at the moment but what could cause that ,,,,,
