iv got a sei and the gas pedal rubs up aganst the carpet at the side, is this normal?

No, is it bent at all. Maybe a previous owner nad wide feet and was hitting when braking. The little pad on the end should be vertical.

My driving instructor used the term gas instead of throttle too. He claimed it was because it was shorter therefore easier to say.

i know i was only kidding but at the same time like to fight of that global americanisation.

thats why my instructor used it, but its wrong:bang:

i know what you mean fiat fan. my instructor told me that they used gas because its quicker to say in an emergency. but when they got dual controls dont think theyre gna say much about the gas! jst slam on theyre pedals! pointless really and gets us in really bad habbits!:bang:

In my humble opinion, the naming of the pedals Accelerator, Brake and Clutch leaves it very simply as A, B and C for speed of communication, or is that too simple.
