Funny, but serious

It is not everyday that I look at the back of my car when the lights are on, but whenever I do I always notice that the rear 'pineapple' lights do not give out the same red colour. They equally give the same light brightness, but the left one is more of a pinkish red than the redish red on the right.

I have noticed other early MK1 Bravo's like this but the difference is less noticeable.

Anyone with the same experience?

Strange lights?

Schuie, as a trainee optician, let me try and put some of your fears to rest. It may not be your lights, it may be your eyes. Is the weaker light always on the same side on each car that you notice?

It may be that you have a weaker left eye tht cant pick up colours as good, to check out if this is the case, do the following..........

Wait until its dark

Put your lights on

Check if its still the same side for the weaker light

If it is..................

Stand on your head and look at the lights again

Have they changed sides?

I am honoured to get such an advice from such a highly knowledgeable person like you, Sir John. It is sad that I do not have the neccessary qualifications to sit at your table during high tea. I think the 'your gf's tits' joke has been done to death so I won't comment.

I must check what the rear bulbs are on the bravo as I can get nearly all car bulbs in LED versions now. Alot cheaper than PIAA too!
