General Fuel tank leak fix?

Hi guys
I have the tiniest leak in my 1100 Mia fuel tank. You can see the wet spot on the photo. It never ever drips but I can smell the strong fuel fumes. When I clean it the fuel almost immediately seeps out again and into the dirt and dust and spreads ever so slowly outward. Could this little leak be the reason why my fuel economy is so high?? What would the best solution be to fix this kind of leak?

I think you mean your fuel consumption is high and your fuel economy is low.Yes this is likely the problem,check for leaks along your fuel lines as well.
