Technical Fuel pump compatability 60 to 75?

Hi,
I am breaking a MK1 Punto 60 and i have been asked for the fuel pump. The guy that wants it has a Punto 75sx, which i believe has a high pressure pump, my 60 has a low pressure.

Firstly, is this correct?

Secondly, will my pump fit or work in his tank? If its a NO, then I won't bother sending it to him, but if its a case of it might work then i will send it off for him to try.

no you are right, he needs the high presure one as his is mpi

It will fit but it does not deliver enough or at the correct pressure.

I got mine to run on the OE 60 fuel pump but it was not good, far too lean and wouldn't do much more than idle.

also fuel control valve is different.
and sometimes the filter and connections are different.
fuel hosing is also of higher quality on 75 as the delivery pressure is like 3.5bar, wheras the 60 spi is 1.2bar or therbouts
