Technical fuel intake /return

hello there
I have th 999 ie injection engine and i am trying to locate the fuel intake pipe
there are two pipes comming out from the injection system one is located to back of the unit and the other one is coming out from the right side of the unit
which one is the intake?

Hi cm246,

I’ve just had a quick look at my 999 IE for you.

Incoming fuel passes through the Fuel filter. There is an arrow on the throttle body pointing inwards for the fuel intake.

For the return, there is an arrow pointing outwards.

Don’t forget the fuel is under high pressure on injection cars.
