Fuel Injector Light (again)

Just been told by the garage that my car needs a new temperature switch on my fuel injector, to cure the problem of my light coming on. About 50 quid.

Being pretty un-technical, would this sound plausable?

fuel injector problems

yep, i had the same trouble with the injector light staying on.
on top of the light coming on the temperature guage would rise to the halfway mark when at idle, but as soon as i drove off it would fall right down. the fuel economy of the car also suffered badly.
all in it cost £52 and the car is running like a dream now.
