Fuel Injector -- HELP !!

Help !!!

Any advice on costs of repairing this fault?? Supposedly my fuel injector has gone on my 1.6 sx fiat bravo, the red injector light comes on and stays on .Have taken it to a garage where they say that I need a new inject and coil, supposedly the coil is cracked as well. They are going to change the injector and put a new coil and its going to cost approx £375 , is this a fair price from your experiences?? I have asked for the warrantee on the injector etc and he says 12 months. I also asked to keep the bits that get replaced , but the garage says that their might be a surcharge for this??

ANY advice would be truly appreciated !!!

Thats about right for a garage cost.

yeah my fiance was driving it and then it started shuddering etc and no normal accelleration. Garage says that the coil has gone as well?? I called the Fiat garage ,and the guy there said I should replace them all if replacing one?? As most times the rest go after one goes??

I am getting the work done at the garage where our direct line insurance chose to take the car. GRS Recovery in Bournemouth.

What is the resale value on a R reg 1.6sx in Good condition normally ??

An R reg would probably still have the dodgey pre-2000 injectors. Not Fiats fault really as the part is made by Weber. They just won't admit its dodgey.

The coil pack is a single box so they all get replaced as one, I would recomend getting all 4 injectors done for both MPG and reliability reasons. I had 3 fail in a year.

Its one of the few true common faults, only the 1.6 though.

Well yeah I guess all 4 would be best, although the garage says the others seem to be good. I was just thinking of selling it off now as I would like a new car anyway.

Dont know how much I would get for it though??
