fuel injection fault

hiya,
have a small problem with my hgt. I took it to the garage last week. Got cam belt, water pump and power stearing pump changed. But now when im driving fuel injection light keeps coming up. Have to stop and start the engine again and its fine for a while but after few mins that red light is on again. Also i noticed that my car is not as powerful as it used to be. Any ideas whats wrong??

Most likely they put something back wrongly.

ive done about 200 miles today and noticed that acceleration is much worse than it used to be. car is slow, havent got all that power. anyone knows whats wrong??

could be the cam belt is out a little

I would take it back to the people that did the repairs, explain that it was running fine until they did the work, They should sort it for free

im going to take it back to the garage on mon. see what they say. what can i do if they charge me?? i think i shouldnt pay

If it was running ok when you took it in then they have caused the fault whatever it is so they should rectify it for free

i know they should do it for free but what can i do if they ask me to pay something extra??

You can threaten them with trading standards But if they are reputable traders you should not have a problem.
