It doesn't happen very often but one moment I have half a tank (genuinely) then minutes later the needle dips to the red zone and gradually climbs back up to where it was again, unless I turn the engine on and off in which case it goes right back to the correct level. Is it the fuel sender? Any other ideas?
Latest repairs were a new fuel pump and coil packs but the installation of the new coil packs seems to have aggravated the issue again.
