I’ve got a 2001 Fiat based Hymer motorhome on a 2.8 idtd heavy chassis, Q18.
I asked a garage a cost for changing these but they could because they couldn’t identify the bearings required despite me give ref & chassis number.
Anybody know what bearings are needed.
Cheers

Hi I've just fitted new front wheel bearings to my 2.8D Q18 and the bearings I've fitted are

Thanks I will check them out, what year is yours.

There appears to be a change of bearing from November 2001 so check out which month it was made with the VIN first.

I learned from bitter experience to go for quality ie SKF, as an old jewish friend used to say, buy cheap buy twice

Mine was registered March 2001.

mine was registered September 2001 so you should be safe enough.
if you want to go better quality you can cross reference the number.
I went for the motoquip because there was a huge price difference and I'm pretty sure they will see out the life of my van (its a bit of a heap)

you could measure your outer cvjoint if you have calipers.
Should help eliminate wrong ones.
