Technical Front strut rubber..?

Hi
Replacing broken front driver's side front spring - bottom of the old spring seems to have been seated directly on the metal mounting plate - should there not also be a rubber mounting/support that the first coil of the spring rests in..?

on the bottom of the forum banner there's a link to ePER - it's a FIAT spare parts catalogue.

The search window is top left of the screen - you can browse by models and categories or search via the VIN - if you make so, ePER will by default display only parts compatible with your car.

I'd look in the suspension category

Thanks for that! Looked it up and it says "ring"...not 100% sure from the shape of the part shown, but think it could be a rubber spring seating?

You can paste the part number in google, it should find images of it.

In fact, there's a small blue maginifying glass icon by the part number. If you click it, it will open an internet search with that part number right away.
