Styling Front Signal lamps

Hi I have 2 orange colour signal lamps in front just below the head lights, should this be orange or white lenses? The reason why I ask is because when I turn on the parking lamps these 2 light up in orange which is highly suspicious????? I also have 2 small orange signal lamps on both mud guards

Let me know if the 2 front ones should be in orange and light up when the parking lights are switchde on?

Hi, as far as I know they should be white (see pic)

They should be white.

You will probably find that you have dual filament bulbs in these lights - therefore they serve as both parking lights and turn indicators.

In the UK technically they are illegal, as turn indicators should be orange.

However, last time we had our car tested for the MOT (an annual roadworthiness inspection cars have to have in the UK) the examiner was of the opinion that because the small repeater indicators (on the wings) are visible from the front, then that is OK!

Thanks for the info will check it out and see if i can just replace the lenses only to white in my case the 2 front orange lights function as the signal and parking so I guess I already have the dual filament but lets say I change the lenses to white would it be correct if the signal lamp on mudguard blinks in orange the one in front blinks in white?

we may have got the UK spec of the 500 since we too are right hand drive just like the UK

Yes - that would be correct.

The white lenses are still available. Chet on UK Ebay has them.
