I edited just as you replyed... it looks like the front strutbrace still won't clear the Selespeed reservoir though, which is a real shame :(

I agree looks as tho its shoowee only and manual trans..:(

Is it me or is the boot a fair bit smaller on the 5 door?
5 door has one of the key features of the Stilo having dynamic boot space adjustment.

When loading up with a full load (5 persons + luggage say) you start with boot at max size and then reduce to allow most room for rear passengers i.e. you compress the boot.

It's a great feature but you only get it on the 5 door (remember the TV ad with the sliding seats :))

It looks like it'll have a better chance than the OMP brace if the reservoir can just be shifted to the left... I'll have a look into it tonight when I get home (y) On another note, I've still got my 147 reservoir which I'd like to look into trying to fit at some point now that I've got software that'll allow me to depressurise and bleed the system.

I have to admit, I do love that in mine... :D

Question.... would the lower braces be the equivelent of the OMP upper braces?

Erm equivalent in what way? They do a different job obviously, as one is 'up top' keeping the McP struts rigid and the others are 'down below' strengthening the chassis.

The only difference I can see is that the OMP upper front is adjustable whereas the UR is a fixed bar.

Incidentally I've been a bit put off by the fact that fitting the UR lower braces seems to require removal of both the engine undertray and the plastic protectors that keep road muck off the rear beam axle bushes.

Knowing how susceptible the electrics are to water and how many people have had these bushes fail, I feel these are important protective items that I don't really want to loose...

Automac in the UK can supply any UR product. The prices of the Stilo bars are:

TW2-890 £68.74
UR-LA4-891 £76.99
UR-RL2-892 £45.37

Cheers for that (y)

Can see what you mean about the removal of bits from underneath to make them fit. I don't have the centre section of the undertray, so the front brace should be fine.

Given the hotter climates Ultra Racing's based in (Asia iirc), I'm guessing they won't need quite as much protection from the elements underneath their cars as we do. I'm still tempted to get one of the lower braces or maybe even both though :)
