as the post says, pay day on friday and my service and the juddering under braking both say they are desperitly needed!

just wondring what one to go for, not the fastest of drivers and don't brake to heavy either but was thinking maybe mintex or red dot from angel tuning.

all suggestions welcome

in my opinion, just stick to the standard ones for now. The other brands you are just paying for the name if your retaining the standard sized parts. If you had the brembo brake upgrade then maybe consider something different ;)

try shop4parts and buypartsbuy. failing that a local motor factor can probably do u a good deal, they did pads and disks for my ex girlfriends corsa for £25 all inclusive!

tarrox mate they make a vast improvement of standeds but ive got allround tarrox, if you get them make sure its the g88's as they have the best reputation for fast road use, every store i foned recomended them

Defiantely stick with standard brakes. They will much better than drilled and grooved. Oh and less brake dust aswell. :)

As mentioned shop4parts are good for original brake pads and discs. Be careful of inferior cheapo's at motorfactors.

OEM spec discs and pads.

The 'amazing improvements' reported by people is simply down to the new parts being not worn out and nackered.

honestly joske mate i noticed a big difference with the new discs and pads plus there is no brake fade what so ever on road use

cheers guys for all your opinions, think i'm gona go to my local highly recomended moter factors and get some.

cheers

sorry, blonde moment here, am i right in thinking that motor factors wont be OEM parts, and if not would fiat be very expencive?

wanted to do them this weekend as they are very bad.

www.shop4parts.co.uk sell official fiat parts usually takes 24hrs to arrive. They do state 3 days but i've always got my stuff within 48hrs, but mainly next day. Does depend when you order though, morning is always the best time.

Motorfactors sell copies of original products.

standard disks are ideal, the likes of the shop4parts or buypartsby sell are best, but try and buy decent pads, such as mintex extreme or red dot.. you'll have to pay a few quid extra, and probably clean your wheels more often, but its worth it imo.
