General front discs

i have just bought brembo front discs. will these be ok. because the last cheap ones i bought they get hot and spongey.

Might be worth changing the brake fluid especialy if its old and has been overheated. I guess you have the 1.2/1.4/1.6 non-vented discs

I've fitted brembo ventilated discs on my 1.4 (discs came of a 1.8 hlx model )
of course had to change the calipers to.
but i can feel the extra stopping power.

id go with that i put thoose on my mk1 uno turbo and i boiled the brake fluid which then gave it about 8% water content which ment every time it looked like you were going to use them hard it boiled the water and made the brakes soft. if you put better brakes on you have to change the fluid because nobody ever does which makes it really old and full of water to be honest though i put standard brakes back on just after i let a pro racing driver take me round brands hatch in my hgt bravo thats when you find you cant really drive like them an i promise you that noway will you ever get anywhere near the top performance the standard brakes will give you anyway not even close he made my car look and go like i could never do and have never seen anyone on a road do so i just save my money now i learned a lesson that day lol (and i like every other man really did beleave i could drive just like schumacher and co how wrong could i be lol)
