Front discs/pads are due to be replaced sometime soon, what do you recommend?

I have just ordered front disks and pads for 1.2 Grande Punto from www.micksgarage.com. Good choice and good prices.
Went for the Freemax ones which seem to offer good parts at a reasonable price.
What ever discs motor factors get and fiat pads...... They still original on the car now?

Not original, was done a year and half ish ago IIRC, discs are bad though now.

Are you wanting to stick with OEM parts or do you fancy something else, have you looked at some drilled/vented or grooved discs?
A fair few people of late have installed EBC Greenstuff have you had a look at the EBC packages of discs and pads mate?
Eurocarparts always seem to have offers on with their mintex disc and pads packages also I haven't used them so cannot comment on what they are like mate.

I've been looking for my t-jet recently, one of the online genuine parts suppliers (might have been shop4parts???) had genuine fiat front discs (both sizes available) and pads bundled together for about £125 which seemed ok to me.
what both discs and pads? what are you doing to them? milage?
mines knocking 19k miles now and they hardly look worn
If you are competent enough to change pads you can change discs.
I had pagid put on mine they were as good as originals

Mintex are a good reliable quality disc and pad mate, we use them in our garage and I had them on the mk2 and are on the seicento ATM

:devil: It's probably more like 2 years ago (30k since).When braking it just doesn't seem to have as much punch as it did a while ago, discs too thin now?
Pads look fine but discs have got some big ass ridges at the outside (not sure of the word..)

Get some penetrating oil on the hub /disc torx screws now
