front brake sensor

while changing my front brakes i noticed that my brake sensor had broken off!
will this affect my brakes and if so can anyone tell me how to replace it please?

It wont change anything, but it will light up your used parts light on the dash - if you have one. Just use a bit of wire and re connect it
