Does anyone know if you can buy the centre armrest to fit into the 500x that didn't have it as standard?

If you see the 500x Melfi factory videos on YouTube it looks as if they plonk it in on top of what's there already and attach it from the back?
Don't know if you'll be able to add the USB adapter, but I'm sure there will be a third party one at some point
Maybe ask your nearest dealer to take a look at one that has one or maybe someone on here can check

Anyone bought an armrest yet? There seem to be 4 different ones, 2 'Armsters', one at £60 the other at £85, and a couple of Italian ones on eBay at around £85.

I've ordered the Armster 2 so will post a photo when fitted. There was a 500x console on eBay complete with Armrest but it appeared to have no back panel and I did not fancy stripping the old one out to find there may be bits missing...

Enclosed I hope are 3 photos from my install of the Armster2 Armrest.
You screw the armrest to the base unit which then fits over the centre console bit at the back between the seat. You mark 4 holes, drill and screw in 4 self tappers.
The Armrest looks good, to OEM quality but the base unit which fits over the centre console is hard scratchy type plastic and not as good as the OEM scratchy bits in the Fiat!(Never thought I'd say Fiat trim was good quality!).
Also the 4 self tappers look a bit naff, (photos show them) given Fiat go to the trouble of enclosing screws and bolts inside little flaps, Armster could have done the same, would have cost pence more.
One final gripe(!) is although I ordered from Armster UK, it was clear they then ordered from Armster Europe and the box came from Hungary and took 10 days from initial order.
This is the deluxe armrest, although there is a cheaper one at £50ish, this has 3 height positions, a slide forward cushion, pen and coin holder and a rather naff clip-on purse you can detach and carry about on your belt....

Mine came with armrest, but on other cars i've fitted ones from www.woodcompany.com. Made to order have allways arrived in about 10 days by UPS and look more factory fit than the Armster. They now do a 500x specific one

Yes I looked at theirs for the 500X, but noticed their armrest was thicker and seemed to cover the centre console more so went for the Armster.

I bought a stock 500X cross off the forecourt. It didn't have an armrest, but I wanted one. The dealer got one from Fiat and fitted it for £140. Job done. Its great. Had to wait about 6 weeks though for it to be shipped from Italy as a special order.
Hi there hoping you’re still a forum member, if so the armrest the dealer fitted was it the original they attached or did they remove the old centre console and fit a new console with the integrated armrest? Be great to see pics of you got any just thinking of adding one to my cross . Cheers
