From engine bay in to car

Hi guys,

I'm planning to run my NOS piping and amp leads today and was wondering where you run the power from the battery through in behind the dash. Is there an easy to access hole to run the leads through or is it a real pain?

The bigger your engine the harder it is, but there is a grommet under the passengers carpet.

Pop the plastic door trim off (take your time, these can crack/break very easily), undo the large carpet holder (like a large headed platic bolt), pull the carpet back and you cant miss it.

I have pulled the carpet back and found a hole where other wires go through but it is sealed with a really thick rubber bung. Is that it and do i need to butcher it or am i looking in the wrong place?
