Technical from 80bhp to 115bhp

Evening all, the jtd engine in the mk2 punto and stilo are basically the same right? it's just the ecu and turbo that gives the stilo 115bhp? or is there anything else?

It hasn't even been a day yet. What looking into it have you done?

but would you agree that with the amount of new posts on here per day, that it's a case of "out of sight, out of mind" hence the Bump.
Nothing, except finding out that to increase the bhp to 115, you need the turbo and ecu.

With SM-chip tuning, you get 109hp, without touching anything on the engine. Don't know about Punto, but my Stilo has no intercooler, and that would be smart to install if boostig the power!

i do plan on a remap later on, that's why i'm fitting stilo parts because i thought why not remap it from 115bhp instead of 80bhp.
The punto has an intercooler, which is strange because the same bhp stilo hasn't!

Yep! Stilo 80bhp has no intercooler! Why? I stopped looking for logical explanation when it comes to italian cars! )))
