You can extend that statement to loads of German cars - VW Golfs and Passats are becoming nearly as bad as the dreaded 318i, Mercs aren't quite that bad but getting there, and Audi TT drivers? Don't even get me started!

If everyone drove a FIAT, imagine what a nice happy place the world would be! :D

I'm with you pghstochaj, i nearly hit a central reservation after being totally blinded by fog lights.

No need to use them other then fog, anyone who does deserves having them smashed to bits.

Another day...another problem...

I understand it is one way that the police catch out boy racers? Not many know it is illegal and drive with them on so often - especially the show offs who want to say "look, I have fogs, aren't i the man?".

I wish more people would be warned against it though. It is worth when it is just starting to get dark, they have their side lights on and fogs, WHY?!

Glad someone agrees. I mean, I don't poor my rear high intensity fog light on at night do I?!

Paul

Foglights DO make cars look good (well, I think so!) but I wholeheartedly agree that they are an extremely bright pain in the retina that police just love to do you for. Hence I don't use mine unless I need the axtra visibility that they give.
However, I'm currently trying to suss out how I can incorporate some bright white LED's behind the lenses of my foggies, so that I have a sidelights-in-the-foglights effect - non-dazzling, non-illegal and sweet-looking [8D]

I also seriously dislike people who hog the middle or right hand lane so you either have to drive AROUND them or undertake to get past them.

but its soo much fun to see them panic when they see you go passed on the left ;)

Oh but Donz, don't you think it's even more amusing when you pull up on their left, brake, move around to the right then cruise all the way back across to the left again.....and they think where's he gone....no....where's he come from......eeerrrrggggggggghhhhhhh.

Paul, I agree, I am very confused by people who see the need for foglights in broad daylight. But then they are all driving crappy escorts so it makes me feel much better!
