Technical Fresh Air

Hi everyone,
We have a current model 500X, and I’m going a little crazy trying to get fresh air into the cabin, with those eccentric Italian controls. Don’t have climate control. One dial to the left is the recirculate button, but when I turn it off to get fresh air, the air con light in the dial next to it goes on? Can’t seem to turn the air con off...probably something boring and simple but help is welcome [emoji848]

Does your AC control panel look like this?

If so pressing the upper section of the left hand button marked A/C should turn the yellow light off and stop Conditioned Air.

Or do you have this system?



If you do, it seems you just push the middle dial as an on/off switch.

Not sure if there's a 3rd version.

Hope one of the suggestions solves your problem.

Hi,
Yes we have system as in the colour illustration.
I cannot turn on the fan, left dial without the aircon starting up . Pushing the second air con button does not turn off the aircon... just trying to get outside air into the car...

I'd query it with the dealer then. Surely it's optional as to wether it's on or off?

Yes, will try to get to the dealer on Monday- yes should be simple, push left button to turn off recirc, push centre button to turn off aircon... but no...

Do you have it set on the windscreen blower if so many cars automatically out Aircon on on this mode

Apparently that is so with the 500X but PSFiat's is not set to screen

Yes definitely set to central and side vents, all very quirky... hoping the dealer can sort it out
