i just been messing trying to sort the over fueling out and now t the car running like a dream it actualy feals and sounds better than it did with the small injectors, i will post vids later when i got a chance and i appoligise for soundin about 5 years old this may be due to the several wife beaters i had lol

lol i was really surprised to be honest i didnt expect it to sound as good as it does the bloody exhaust though lol i think its baffles have gone and the condensation that came out of the pipes for the first couple of minutes lol am glad its all fine i was a bit worried if truth be told when i first started it up cos of the injectors but it actualy runs better with them in lol than the smaller ones

Hi Donny,

Is there any way you can get the nitrous and fuel pulsoids closer to your inlet so the hoses are shorter. I managed to get mine down to about 3 inches (admittedly on a 1.8 hlx so layout was slightly different) to make sure there was no chance of it leaning out on initial activation. If they are under 8 inches it's not a major issue though.

Have you got a minimax/maximiser to offer the option of retarding the nitrous if the hoses are too long?

Looking good though. Nice to see another boozer adding some laughing gas to their motor

i cant be good at everything lol

i was going to get a mini max but the guy at WON said that it is only good for about 250bhp and even though thats where im at on this car with the nitrous it doesn't mean i wont need more if ya get me, but at £550 the maxi is a bit steep lol so ill have to save for it

eventually ill get the jets down to about 4 inch or so but ive got a bottle warmer too so it wont be getting fired till up to pressure its not as easy as it looks as well is it wiring it up when its come off a different car lol i cant wait to get the gear box done now cos it will be silly fast for a hgt then lol be nice to see the qtr in low 14's that is for sure std it will do it in low 15s i think so i don't think thats to optimistic lol (fingers welded crossed)

Only just got round to watching both vids (was at work earlier and busy). I see you just have the TPS to wire up then. That will probably be a two man job as you need one person to position the throttle at the right point for activation while you press in the little button on the TPS. Then once it's setup the LED on the TPS (and the whole nitrous system) activates when you pass the throttle position.

You mention you were looking to do it today so let me know if I'm talking about stuff you have already done.

One other thing I found as a good short term fix before you buy the bottle warmer; initially I heated my bottle in a shallow hot bath to get it up to temperature if its an expensive bath you don't want to scratch, wrap the bottle in a towel first

The difference between a few hundred psi can be night and day with nitrous. I have run it after a cold day at 600psi and it feels nippy, but the same size jets at 850psi and the car feels like a rocket.
