Welcome your car does not have fog lights on the front, the light on in your picture is/are the day running lights they come on at start up until you put on the headlights then they go dim, fog lights are mounted where the black plastic tim bits are either side of the radiator grille just above where it says jpg in your pic technically they can be retro fitted but it's not simple

thank you for your help

You can retro fit the front fogs light as normally the wiring loom is already in place inside /underneath the front bumper (check first!).
You need the lights and a replacement dash switch panel that incorporates the different control switch for the fog lamps! however it will cost you and the question is is it every really foggy enough often enough for you to need them!.

I was looking into this as well. I might try to retrofit the fog ligths, I need to check if the wiring is there in the front bumper (probably is) so I was under the impression that this is just plug and play. The part I am not clear enough is about changing the switch (I saw a few pics of models that have front fog lights and the only diff apparently is the "sticker" of the switch, I mean, there is no extra button). Might be the case that the original switch will light both at the same time if you don't change it? or maybe is something that can be "programmed" with MES?
Any light on this will be very appreciate.

Light at the end of the tunnel. Only problem train is coming 😲.
Ok. First photo of fog lights fitted in grill panel. Think this would be a simple swap.
My owners manual has (with dipped beam on):
One press front fog; second press rear fog; and third off.
Manual also states press "D" if only rear fog fitted, but no fig. for D?
I would try a bulb if you locate the connection from the light loom. Also maybe a replacement dashboard switch for front and rear?
Bit garbled but you did say any light. Wee candle 🕯️😉.

If wiring is present you might need a proxy allignment to get it to work after you told the bcm (in MES) that front fogs are there.

like i said you need a new switch, the original is a simple on/off where as the one with symbols for both front and rear is a on /on/ off switch!
you can't just by the fog light switch as its integral to the circuit board with both the hazard lights and city button so you need the whole board with all three switch's. Theres one on eBay now for £15.00

physically what is the difference between those two buttons? unless there is a chip or something in the front/rear fog lights one
I would assume that in the one for the single rear fogs there is one signal path to the bcm to turn it on- in the one with the fronts as well there must be a second feed to tell the bcm to turn them on as well as the rear.
