FOG LIGHTS NOT WORKING!!

hi there people.. i have a fiat bravo hlx 1.6L... everytime i try to switch the fog lights on they never switch on! dont know where the problem is..

any ideas?

you do know they will only work if your headlights are on? ie they wont work on there own.

yes i know that.. they dont work with the headlights on.. just check it now.. they do not work at all...

I had this last year with the rear fog light. Its likely to be the centre console switch on your dash. About £60 from FIAT if i remember correctly.

20amp fuse probably blown or the relay blown. both lights feed from 1 wire.

try disconnecting the lights and cleaning the connectors. they may have come a bit loose or even dirty as they are so close to the road. Check the fuse and check the bulbs aren't blown. they are H1 bulbs, the same bulbs as your headlights!

where are the connectors in the car when i open the bonnet?

you can open the bonnet if you want, for more light perhap but since they are mounted in the bumper, i suggest you attack from underneath the car. Or grow some ridiculously long arms

are you sure you mean your foglights? as said above, they are in the bumper so you need to work from underneath the bumper!

yes im sure.. they are the foglights on the bumper.. i will work on it tomorrow as its too dark to see now thanks for your help every1
