fm modulator

hi all i bought a jvc 12 disc changer + fm modulator 2nd hand i think a cable is missing on the modulator it has controller input got that,changer input got that,and dc input no got that or does it pick up a feed from the changer,have heard that the modulator needs live[ignition],live[ permanent]and an earth am i right is a cable missing or not please help me out .regards george

turns out cable was missing but local car audio [autotec longnidry] made one up for me for a £5 very helpfull and cheep
