interesting, just read up on it, seems they are legal and emit the correct light output
Dont know what the police would have to say though about purple headlights though
Those ones dont look right, i dont think you would get a good match unless you sprayed your car to match
however other coloured ones for example would look good on some cars

they change the color but not the light color. where tint film would change the bulb to a purple color. these dont. it is legal but DOES cut your headlight brightness down so only use it with osram night breakers or halfords extreme brilliance...
and i think it looks silly but would be EXTREMELY surprised if there any where near that bright. as the ones ive seen purple are a deep dark purple not really far off black.

Cov69 is using the fly eyes kit on his new car and I can't why the police would question them.
They look a bit strange up close but at a distance they look good. They don't effect the way the light is dispersed either because of it being a "mesh" rather than a solid tint.

i concidered black as iv tinted the back ones black all ready :S
but i want purple, will it make a diffrence putting the flyeyes over just slightly tinted rear lights?
and one last question will 1 sheet do all my lights?

is this what fly eye is?
if it is then its just contravision window vinyl, i've got it on my back window,
any sign shop should keep this stuff in stock and you can get it printed with any solid colour or design you want. how much are these kits? the vinyls not that expensive.

tbh, theres probably £2-3 worth of printed vinyl there, granted they've got to make a mark up but... I'm thinking of going euro with my car and doing a griffiti wrap on my bonnet, I may do griffiti light covers too.

well fly eyes does cut the light back abit so putting it over already tinted lights id say no... but you can t-cut tint spray off if you really want to...
and i got my set for free off them so i dont care how much it should be lmfao.
and i was thinking of getting some sort of wrap for my roof and bonnet.. not sure what yet though
oh and i did my entire car with one sheet. front lights and rear pluss side repeaters indicators and foglamps and had a little left afterwards. just measure it all out first

Suppose that the police may think they are suspect & it will potentially draw attention to you. I know that I get pulled quite often driving my modded Seicento as I work in a run down area & often finish quite late a night so I'm sure they think it is nicked or that I might be a scally!!!
Gets frustrating when I spend my time having to deal with the morons they are trying to catch.

Suppose that the police may think they are suspect & it will potentially draw attention to you. I know that I get pulled quite often driving my modded Seicento as I work in a run down area & often finish quite late a night so I'm sure they think it is nicked or that I might be a scally!!!

lol know what you mean. ive only been pulled once since drivin the modded cento and it was for the lights. first day i put it on soon as they got clost to them they let me go though.
ive been pulled twice becaue im a 17 yr old with a mis-matched bonnet, noisy exhaust and a sub in the boot.
its funny watching their expressions drop when they realise im a good lad and have nothing to hide
