im curious as to just how you managed to get 118 out of that 1.4! i managed to just about get 105 on a very quiet bit of runway that was in my 2001 1.2 16v! i very much doubt you got that kind of speed out of it :\

well i put my foot down. and jus watched it get from 70-80-90-100-110-118. but it wouldnt hit 120 jus so that i dont get another bol**king i no this was wrong. was talking to mate and he said after 100mph the needles can be out by quite a few mph but not really sure?

Going to only make 1 point about this, it really p*sses me off when people say it was safe to speed at night because the road was empty and words to that effect. How do you know the road is empty and there's no other traffic until you have driven down it? Only then you KNOW it is clear, prior to this you HOPE it is clear, big difference.

maxim i find it rather stupid of you to claim that you was doing 118mpg on the m25 on a public forum that displays ur ip address and also has a couple of police officers as members!!
if you were doing 20mph over the speed limit you have already got yourself 6 points the claim of 118mph will prob net you an extra years ban. and im not sorry to say your very deserving of a ban for your stupidity alone!!
P.S. You are the reason insurance is so expensive and also why we have speed cameras!!
usefull info to all the other new drivers on the forum up to 10mph over the limit nets 3 points. 10mph to 20mph over the limit is 6points and over 20mph is a ban!!

i dont agree with it but aint it funny that every1 talks bout how fast theyre cars are and this bloke obviously wants to see how fast and everyone slates him for it. next time either do run what u brung at santa pod or keep quiet
