General fixed glass roof or elec sunroof

*As others have mentioned, I guess it really does depend if you have longer legs or longer body - my sister-in-law is 5ft 9 and her head practically touches the roof in the passenger seat of my solid-roof 500, so you never can tell!

Thanks Juwlz. I enjoyed that. I thought I had the shortest legs at 29inch . At least your sister-in-law can wear high heals. I reckon the Italian 'shape' of long arms and short legs can suit the Italian cars

Haha, yeah, I just hope sister-in-law never reads this/knows its me, as I have made her sound like a bit of a freak, she's actually a lovely looking lady!

Yup, she's lovely, but she's not a fan of high heels. Damn! – I guess we'll never know what a 5ft 9 person with short legs/long body looks like in heels… unless?!

You're tempting me to go over on the ferry to Holyhead. I would borrow Draigflags chipped Abarth in Wales and I'd be down in a jiffy.
We could do a proper test on those opening sunroofs for the forum.

Im guessing from what your both saying is that the fixed roof is identical to the electric in size so i wouldnt be losing out on light if i opted for one over the other?

I've optioned the fixed glass roof on my two previous 500s but went for the opening one on the A500 (see below). However, it does appear to be darker inside than the others because of the darker materials, used as previously mentioned.

I wish the darker headlining and interior was an option for the normal 500, I'd have definitely had mine like that Looks less cheap.

agreed 306maxi would have happily ticked that box too, darker looks miles better and way more practical

All ordered yesterday, thanks for all the advice, i sat in one again and measured head height space etc and in the end went for a fixed glass roof. Been told it will be 12 weeks but possibly sooner so cant wait !!!
