Fitting Sony CDX-T69 CD changer

I have just bought a Sony CDX-T69 cd changer and I was hoping to be able to simply plug it into the standard Fiat cable already in my boot. However the plugs clearly do not match, I have got an adapter but I need to plug into the back of the stereo and wire it all the way throigh to the boot which seems crazy considering a I already have a cable fitted?

Has anyone else overcome this problem?, is there another kind of adapter I could buy?

It is a 97 Bravo.

Looks like I need a sony Bus lead (a bit pricey though £35!!)

you may be disappointed as the converter box usually plugs into the back of the head unit(at least the one i had did)so you still need to change the cable to the sony one,hope you find something easier!!!

I have decided to send the Sony CD changer back and get the Grudig one instead - I have been assured this will fit directly into my Pre-fitted Cable in the boot.
