ive heard that u gotta get the balance exactly right or they wont work properly

don't have your handbrake on, then you can't remove the drum.

My number 3 (see pic) was missing when I removed my rear brake drum !

Not fully sure about the balance, but it needs to be equal on both wheels. :D
I just did it with trial and error, adjusted the screw on 4a, put the drum and the wheel on, and applied force with my hands for a second to rotate the wheel. I repeated this until I was only able to turn one full circle.

Hope this helps, and if someone else got any better advise

i take it to get the balance right u just have to get part 4A to both be unwound the same distance??

thats what im gonna try anyway, where does the high pressure grease go that i got with the kit?

i also got with the kit a couple of small springs with a screw and some washers im presuming these are to attach the shoes to the back of the drum??

This is not a Fiat picture, but brake shoes are often with the spring and washer (number 2).

thats what i thought the springs and washers were for instead of the doubled ober metal prong thats on them just now.

so where is the best place to put the grease onto?
