Please can anyone advise where i can get a feed from for a led, that will only flash when the ignition is off!I already have half the dash out for mods i am doing so gettin to the wires shouldnt be a problem!!!!!!!!!!! 2001 80sx bravo
Cheers in advance.

I think your going to need a switch rather than a live feed when the ignition is off.

you could use a permanent live for the led and have a relay in the circuit with igniiton live controlling the relay to brak the circuit with ignition on.

Are you trying to make a 'fake' alarm light ?

If so, easiest way is to buy a 'flashing led' and hook it up to your central door locking, in such a way that the live side is direct to 'live side' of fuse box ( or battery (add fuse) and the negative hooks up to the closed(locked) side of your CL control, either at the C/L relay or within the door.

I did this trick about 10 years ago, and had the led on the door next to the pull up . Fooled many people.

Get a live via fuse
Then get a wire from the trigger wire on the alternator (the small one)
This is the good bit Engine off LED working
Engine running LED off

The trigger wire on the alternator is Earth when the engine is off
And live when running
