Technical Fitting after-market USB Socket

Hi Gang. We have a 2010 Evo (1.3 multi) here in France. It is the French "societe" spec, ie only 2 seats and a large luggage space (designed for reps etc). It is pre Blue&Me and has a cigarette lighter socket near the handbrake that I use to charge my phone when I am using the car. I want to put a USB socket somewhere nearer the dash to avoid wires everywhere when using SatNav etc. Has anybody done it? Where did you put it? I would like a clue before starting to pull too many panels off. Cheers.
