Will i need a boss kit if i replace my standard wheel from my mk2, with a sporting or HGT wheel?
Or is it just a direct replacemet?

im not certain but im pretty sure its straight swap
disconnect battery leave it tem mins to get rid of all current in the wiring. undo two bolts underneath remove airbag then a bolt in the centre of the wheel and then revers for fitting
this is how i think u do it but would wait for another reply first

You mean rid of the charge, the wiring doesn't disappear
There are 3 bolts holding the airbag in place, 5mm allen heads.
Remove airbag, unclip wiring.
Undo 24mm central nut.
Remove wheel.
They are a straight swap.
you will also need the relvent air bag as they are different to the standard one
