Hi Guys...

Earlier today, I picked a Marea Centre console up from Mike Gartside, which is in fantasic condition. I need a bit of help with fitting. My Bravo is a Mk2 1.2 with a lift on the stick for reverse. As the Gaitor is different on the Bravo, the one Mike supplied doesnt fit. Has anyone ever had the same problem and is there an easy work around without any drastic modifications???

Cheers,

Sean

As I can remember from top of my head, someone used the one from the bravo and modified it on the marea console.

Use the marea one, put in place then pull it inside out and use a good quality elastic band under the gearknob and in will hold it in place perfectly and you wont be able to see it. Mine has been in place around 3 and a half year with no problems.

Fiat Bravo 1.2 80sx - 110,400 miles - Marea HLX Front End now fitted! - In the garage now having new brake pipes all round and coming out with 12 months MOT :):):):)

Thanks for the help guys!

I removed the gear knob from mine, turned the gaitor inside out from the console, removed the plastic ring that secures it round the knob, slid it over the top and put my gear knob back on! Simples!

I am awaiting the delivery of some electric and heated wing mirrors. Does anyone know if i manage to get hold of a new switch panel, whether the temp guage on the mileage display just work? or does it require extra mods?

Also, I am considering adding a bumper with front fogs. Would a 2000 SX have the wiring already?

Cheers, Sean
